We were asked to design and install an unobtrusive induction loop system within this 300 year old rural Quaker Meeting House located between Lake Windemere and Coniston Water.
With the largely untouched interior of the meeting house in mind the new induction loop equipment was installed within an existing timber cabinet and with a carefully planned discrete cable route with any surface cabling painted out, the new installation is almost invisible. The system relies on a miniature Audio Technica condenser wide-angle ambient microphone to pick up those taking part in a meeting with a more direct vocal pick-up provided by a Sennheiser XSW UHF hand-held microphone which can also be used for those leading presentations and meetings within the space.
