Induction hearing Loop systems can be installed in most public buildings to enable anyone with a 'T' setting on their hearing aid to receive an audio feed from any microphones in use.
An Induction loop system can be installed into most spaces that require a public hearing loop. A perimeter loop is installed along with an induction loop amplifier and microphones.
Other systems such as the Sennheiser MobileConnect system and the Williams AV system can be integrated into a room without the need to run any extra cables around the perimeter of the area that requires a hearing system. Such systems typically use a WiFi network and users can use there own mobile devices (with headphones) to listen to the audio stream. [free app is required] Adapters are also available should the user already have a hearing aid or an implant.
Infra Red hearing systems operate by sending the audio from the microphones via an Infra Red transmitter directly to a special receiver, usually worn around the neck. This receives the signal by 'line of sight' and relays the audio to the users hearing aid.
